Dr. JoAnn Burkhardt

Bio
Dr. Jo Ann Burkhardt is an associate professor of education where she teaches a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Some of these include courses about secondary methods, math and science methods, exceptionality, and research methods. Her special interests include characteristics of the secondary learner, how to create the diverse secondary classroom and how best to teach college students. She is a McMaster Fellow and travels internationally to support students in their research. JoAnn enjoys travel, reading, gardening, collecting antiques and knitting.
