Admissions Guidelines

• Incoming Freshman:

1. ACT composite score 27 or higher, top 10% rank in high school, or high school cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0
   
   
2. Completed and submitted Application for Admission
   
   
   

• Transfer Students:

1. Transfer cumulative GPA of 3.5/.4.0
   
   
2. Completed and submitted Application for Admission
   
   
   

• Current Students:

1. Cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0;
   
   
2. Completed and submitted Application for Admission

Requirements for continued membership in the program

1. Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0
   
   
2. Sixty percent attendance and participation at meetings and required events
   
   
3. Attendance at three cultural/academic events per semester or six cultural/academic events per academic year
   
   
4. Completion of one Honors Option Course during the academic year
   
   
5. Presentation at both fall and spring Honors Symposia
   

Graduation as an Honors Scholar
Honors Scholars who complete the entire program requirements will be recognized as Carolyn M. Small Honor Scholars during Honors Convocation and the graduation ceremony.
