Camille is passionate and dedicated to the choral and vocal arts in all of their facets. Her background is in choral conducting, private vocal instruction, professional choral singing, and arts administration and management. She received her Masters of Music in Choral Conducting at the University of Florida and her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.

In addition to her role at Defiance College, Camille is also a Senior Project Manager with audio and video production company, Arts Laureate, where she oversees the production of virtual and in-person recordings, and manages CD releases through their record label, Tōnsehen. Prior to joining the Defiance College staff, she was the Artistic Administrator and Production Manager for The Choral Arts Society of Washington in Washington, DC, where she oversaw a full performance season at the Kennedy Center. Before her work in Washington, she was Coordinator of Education and Operations for the Oregon Bach Festival, Director of Music for the Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene Oregon, Operations Manager for the Ravinia Festival’s Steans Music Institute in Chicago, and Director of Music for Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Melbourne, FL. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, Ms. Lively worked as a private vocal instructor, choral conductor, and professional singer for Katterwall Ltd. and Soho Collective Artist Management in Hong Kong.

Camille is an avid outdoor enthusiast, active in cycling, hiking, and white water rafting, a frequent traveler, dog mom to Sophie, and she takes her coffee very seriously.
