Saturday, the 3 Hot Mamas (Aubrey McCandless, Dawn Hoellrich and Tandy Szabo) won the most popular vote with their Creamy, Steamy, Smokin' Hot Chili and Kim Semer collected the most donations. Thank you!!
On behalf of the Family Justice Center of Northwest Ohio, we would like to thank all of the students, faculty, and staff who participated in the food drive for our agency. After unloading the boxes of your wonderful and thoughtfully chosen donated items this winter, we were able to feed many women and families. Your efforts and donations have made a difference in so many lives. Each time we are able to offer a bag of groceries and basic living supplies to families who are in crisis and transition is a blessing. Thank you so much for your continuing support for this agency with your contributions to our food pantry.

FAFSA Time Is Here
Once again it is time to complete your 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applying for financial aid at Defiance College is easy. Log onto www.fafsa.gov to complete your FAFSA today! The FAFSA is the only application you will need to complete for all federal, state and institutional aid programs. File the FAFSA as soon as possible for the 2010-2011 academic year. Federal funds are limited for certain programs; therefore, filing as early as possible is ideal. Have a copy of your 2009 tax return for reference in completing the FAFSA. Be sure to list Defiance College - federal school code 003041.
If you do not have or remember your PIN (Personal Identification Number), please log onto www.pin.ed.gov and apply for one today. Your PIN will be used in signing the online FAFSA and will be issued to you upon applying online.
FYI: Paper FAFSA’s will only be available this year by contacting the Department of Education; however, a FAFSA on the web worksheet can be used as a reference before filing online and can be picked up in the Financial Aid Office or CAP office.
Please contact Financial Aid if you have any additional questions regarding your Financial Aid or the FAFSA.
