Class Start Dates and Times
RL395 A Overcoming Racism is scheduled to meet alternate weeks throughout the fall semester, beginning Thursday, August 26 from 6 - 10 pm.

RL198 Religious Seminar is scheduled to meet alternate weeks throughout the fall semester, beginning Thursday, September 2 from 7 - 8:50 pm.

AC221 S Financial Accounting is scheduled to meet the 1st eight Tuesdays beginning August 24 in SEC208. For the first class meeting only, class will begin at 7:00 pm.

New Semester Checklist:
Have you take care of your bill?
Is your financial aid paperwork complete?
Do you have a photo ID with a current validation sticker?
Do you have your vehicle registration?
Do you have your computer username and password?

Reminder to all Students
Computer passwords cannot be given out over the telephone or by email. If you forget your password, you will need to stop in the CAP Office to pick it up or we can mail it to you to the address we have on file.


Textbook Rental Program
The DC Bookstore has implemented a textbook rental program for the fall 2010 semester.  Not all books are eligible for rental. Details for this program are available in the Bookstore. 

Fall Billing Information
Bills for the Fall 2010 semester have been mailed out. You will not be coded as registered unless this form is signed and returned, even if you have a -0- balance due. If you are using the Deferred Payment Option (DPO), the deadline for submitting your DPO application and all pertinent paperwork was August 1st. Paperwork received after this date may be ineligible for the program. The applications are available in the CAP office or by clicking the appropriate link below. If you have any questions about the DPO paperwork/process, please contact Michelle at 419.783.2351.

Online Textbook Purchasing
Textbooks that are in stock can be purchased online through the Defiance College bookstore. Items purchased online can be picked up at the book store at no extra charge or shipped to your home for a small fee. Here is a direct link to the Defiance College Bookstore.
We are happy to pick up your pre-paid books for you from the bookstore with appropriate notice. You must, however, ask us to do so; the bookstore will not send them to the CAP Office for you.

Accessibility Services are now handled through the Career Development Office at DC. Defiance College offers a variety of services and resources to help students succeed. Additional information can be found on the DC website under Student Life.

Testing Information
CLEP and Dantes testing information is available online. The CLEP test fee is $72 and the fee for Dantes is $80. There is also an administration fee of $25 payable to Defiance College. Additional testing information can be found on the DC website under Student Life and then the Academic Resource Center.

If you are interested in testing out of a course, please contact Robin Kratzer at least two weeks prior to the test date.
