Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree completion program is a two-track program developed to serve the community and the region with baccalaureate-prepared nurses. The first track is a 1+2+1 program in partnership with Northwest State Community College and the second track is for registered nurses who wish to pursue their BSN. Both offer expanded career options for persons in the nursing field by combining technical aspects of nursing with leadership skills necessary to lead in today’s dynamic health care environments. Students will develop critical-thinking and decision-making skills to function effectively in interpersonal and group settings. Graduates will be prepared to understand and respond to changing health care needs of individuals and communities.
