In our 1+2+1 nursing program, we offer the BSN degree in partnership with Northwest State Community College
(located 14 miles from our campus) and Rhodes State College (located 50 miles from our campus). Those who attain admission complete the associate degree in nursing at NSCC/RSC
during their sophomore and junior years. View a sample course schedule here.
As a freshman, students get the full college experience on the DC campus. In this year, students are required to take the nursing PAX pre-admission exam to be eligible to attend NSCC/RSC. NSCC/RSC reserves a limited number of seats for Defiance College students.
After completing the RN degree requirements, successfully passing the NCLEX-RN exam, and demonstrating good academic standing at 2.5 GPA or above, the student will return to DC for their senior year to complete their BSN.
