At this time of unprecedented uncertainty across the world with the coronavirus (COVID-19),
it must feel overwhelming as you make plans for where to attend college. Some colleges
are cancelling campus visits, which may make your decision even more difficult.
At Defiance College, we care deeply that you make the right decision for yourself and do not feel stressed with the May 1, 2020, decision deadline at most colleges and universities. After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to extend our decision and enrollment deposit date to June 15, 2020, to give you additional time to complete all campus visits and make the most informed decision.
At this time, we have decided to cancel in-person campus visits until May, 1, 2020. This may be extended depending on the advice of the Governor's office. My staff and I are committed to being available for calls, texts, and meetings via Skype, Google Meets, or FaceTime to answer questions about admissions and financial aid. You can also meet with faculty virtually. Our goal is to help you every step of the way. To schedule a virtual meeting, please call or email our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-520-4632. You may contact the Office of Financial Aid at 419-783-2364 or by email at email@example.com.
I hope this will give you peace of mind as you make decisions of where to attend this fall. Do not hesitate to contact us if we can help. As the need arises, DC will continue to provide updates on our website and on the official Defiance College social media channels.

Vice President for Enrollment Management
