The Good Lovelies close out the 2012-13 Schomburg Series

March 18, 2013

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Good Lovelies will close out the 2012-13 season of the Schomburg Series with a concert on Thursday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Historic Valentine Theater located at 602 South Clinton St., in downtown Defiance.

Funny and upbeat, with just a pinch of sass, the Good Lovelies’ textbook three-part harmonies, constant instrument swapping and witty on-stage banter have enlivened the folk music landscape since they joined forces in 2006. Lighthearted songwriting and irresistibly buoyant dispositions have made them the darlings of the festival circuit.

This performance is co-sponsored by the Defiance Community Cultural Council (DCCC) as part of its Bands, Bands, Bands performance series. The event sponsor is BIGGBY Coffee, Sue A. Strausbaugh. The series sponsors are the Hubbard Company, Mercy Defiance Hospital, and Mercy Clinic.

Presale tickets are $8 and available at Kissner’s, Defiance Development and Visitors Bureau and the Defiance Public Library. Individual performance tickets will be available at the door for $10.
