Lynn A. Braun, M.A., P.C.C.-S.
Lynn has worked in the field of mental health for almost twenty years. She received her Bachelor's degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College in Psychology and Mathematics Secondary Education. Her Master's Degree is in Counseling and Social Psychology from Ball State University. Her doctoral studies are from West Virginia University, where she is ABD from that program. Lynn has worked in a variety of settings. She was most recently the Clinical Supervisor and Coordinator of Co-occurring Programming for Children's Resource Center in Bowling Green, OH. She has worked in two other college counseling centers previously, Ball State University and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She has also taught at the collegiate level at both West Virginia University and West Liberty State College.
Though Lynn is trained and has experience in working with all mental health issues/concerns, she has specific focus and training in the following areas: trauma, eating disorders, working with multicultural populations, depression, anxiety, couples & family, suicide & crisis response, self-mutilative behaviors, integrating spirituality in the therapeutic process, chemical abuse/dependency, and LGBTQ issues.
Originally from West Virginia, she and her family have lived in Toledo, OH for the past ten years, where Lynn is active in her church, serving as the music director and chair of the leadership team. She's loves grilling and barbequing , golfing, music, genealogy, and growing heirloom vegetables.
