Recruitment and Requirements
Fall Recruitment Week will be in September.
Greek Recruitment Week is the formal period of time in which our Greek organizations will hold events to allow you to get an in-depth look at the organization along with learn more about you. To be eligible for fall recruitment, you must have a minimum of a 2.2. cumulative G.P.A. in either high school or college and will need to sign up online.
After fall recruitment takes place, organizations will continue to recruit but no formal weeks will be held.
Please note that each individual Greek organization may have further academic requirements that may be higher.
The Greek Community is overseen by our governing board, the Inter-Greek Council. The officers from this organization are expected to uphold the values of our board along with building community. Each semester they assist with the large scale Greek events, educate our members on best practices, and award scholarships to our leaders.
These scholarships are towards the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values Conference and the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute. Each of these leadership functions are premier events in the fraternity and sorority field and much is gained from attending these events.
The Greek Informational is a chance for all our organizations to come together and for you to learn about the requirements of each particular organization and the tradition and history behind what made these Greek organizations. This will give you a chance to ask any questions and for you to meet the members throughout the presentation.
Greek Week is held each spring. Activities are planned throughout the week to allow Greek students to show their pride and recognize those students and organizations who have achieved excellence in the past year.
